Material HandlerWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The role involves loading, unloading, and conveying materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site, under specific direction. You will perform a combination of tasks including shipping and receiving, using hand tools to open containers, counting and weighing materials, and recording information accurately.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand.Sort and place materials into designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL) and perform inventory using a Windows tablet.Transport materials using carts, hand trucks, or other devices; stack or assemble materials as needed.Order materials for bin replenishment using handheld tablet and scanner.Essential SkillsProficiency in material handling and inventory management.Experience with picking and sorting materials.Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a similar role at an industrial or manufacturing site is a plus.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and supportive team environment where your contributions are valued. The role involves working with various technologies and equipment, including tablets and scanners, in an active and engaging setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Warner Robins, GA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
