Autism Behavioral Institute is seeking Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with children with autism! Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT's) provide one-on-one behavioral interventions teaching social, daily living and communication skills. RBT's work under the close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement a variety of strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.ResponsibilitiesFollows individual treatment plan written by the supervising BCBAUtilize Central Reach practice management system to record, collect and maintain clinical dataCompletes session documentation in a thorough and timely mannerAble to manage challenging behaviorCollaborates with BCBA, family and other community stakeholders under the direction of supervisorCommunicates any relevant information from sessions to the BCBAProvides services in home and community settingsQualificationsBe a current Registered Behavioral Technician or have passed the 40-hour RBT trainingProfessional demeanor and a positive “can do” attitudePass a Background Check and Drug Screen prior to employmentHas basic computer skillsFlexibility and able to adapt quickly based on circumstancesReliable transportationEducation RequirementsA high school diploma or GED equivalentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive.
