Greets patients/guests upon entry in a friendly and helpful manner. Provides direction to appropriate areas and documents arrival of visitors. Responsible for ensuring the overall appearance of the lobby/waiting area is neatly organized and reports any furniture or maintenance repair issues accordingly. Uses names as appropriate to recognize management, coworkers and patients/family by greeting them in a professional manner. Maintains maps/directions for other facilities on hand to provide as needed. Ensures parking area and entrance to the building is free of trash and debris by picking it up or arranging with Environmental Services to provide service. Uses proper telephone etiquette to answers incoming calls and routes calls quickly and efficiently. Identifies telephone system problems and arranges for repair. Notifies appropriate emergency response agency and management in emergency situations.
