We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technician/Individual Support Worker (fmr House Parent) to join our teams in our, in making a difference in the lives of our patients every day. The Behavioral Health Technician/Individual Support Worker (fmr House Parent) cares for people who have disabilities, chronic illnesses, cognitive impairments, or age-related problems. He or she provides social interaction and companionship for patients in various healthcare settings under the direction of a licensed professional.
At least six months of work experience as a sitter/companion in a healthcare setting.
Experience in Behavioral Health (Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health or Substance Abuse)
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered
Must be a self-started and work independently;
Must be able to perform assignments with minimal supervision;
Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures;
Must have effective comprehensive reading skills, strong communication skills, written and verbal.
