Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health Consultant)

Position located at 78th Medical Group at Robins Air Force Base, Houston County, Georgia near Warner Robins, Georgia.

Salary: $106,437 - $138,370 per year. Incentives MAY be authorized.

Responsibilities

• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
• Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
• Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, including recommendations for team-based care.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health): Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This position requires qualification using experience alone; no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Licensure: Requires a current, active, valid and unrestricted clinical license to practice psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of your license with your application package)
