These positions support GPS User Equipment modernization programs, including MAGR-2K, EGI, R-EGI, and weapons integration with M-Code capability.These are full-time position located at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB).ResponsibilitiesTranslate user requirements into system requirements for GPS User Equipment systems Perform technical/mission analyses of operational requirements and develop system conceptsConduct technological/tr ad e-off study assessments of proposed designsDraft project documentation including SOOs, SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentationsReview and analyze technical proposals for cost, design feasibility, and system compatibilityProvide rapid response engineering service for critical supportability problemsDraft regulatory and statutory documentation including Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs)Review contractor documents and data, provide technical commentsSupport and conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, and life-cycle cost analysesEvaluate Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and cost estimatesParticipate in systems, subsystems, and component testingProvide systems/subsystems integration support for acquisition and developmentSupport weapons integration with M-Code capabilityConduct tr ad e studies for MGUE Source of Supply and Open ArchitectureSupport platform integration and Interface Control Document (ICD) developmentEvaluate contractor test plans and results for system verificationSupport Manufacturing Re ad iness Assessments and production planningDevelop and maintain requirements traceabilityApply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) best practicesQualificationsMinimum Experience:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearanceEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical fieldYears of Experience: 15 years of systems engineering experience in DoD, with at least 5 years in DoDAdditional Experience:In-depth knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems, navigation, and PNTExperience with weapons systems and precision-guided munitions preferredKnowledge of systems engineering processes per IEEE 15288/EIA 632Experience with requirements management and MBSE toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent technical writing and communication skillsPreferred Experience:Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Engineering or related technical fieldYears of Experience: 12 years of systems engineering experience in DoD, with at least 5 years in DoDAdditional Information:Location: Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA Travel: Travel up to 15% may be required - per the customer's discretion
