Under the general direction of the Center for Best Practice and Inpatient Nursing management, advises, supports, and assist in the use of data through advance statistical analysis, data mining and data visualization techniques to measure and report on clinical effectiveness. Provides maintenance and support of a variety of data systems to support the quality and operational initiatives. Serves as administrator for assigned systems assisting in the development of strategies, projects and goals to utilize technology in innovative ways ultimately improving efficiency. Provides support with performance improvement initiatives.
Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Health Administration, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
Minimum Years of Experience: None
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): A Master's Degree may be substituted for one of the following combinations:
A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of related experience working in the database management.
A Associate's Degree in Health Administration, Computer Science, or Business Administration or related field with 5 years of related experience working in the database management and analysis.
Required Certifications/Licensure: None
Required Training: Experience with database querying and reporting technologies/tools; Able to understand various data structure and common methods in data transformation; Experience Microsoft Office Suite (especially proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point)
Must possess strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
