Diamond Plastics Corporation has an immediate opening for a Maintenance position. This position is responsible to provide technical / physical support in the area of mechanical maintenance. Maintain plant equipment and systems in good operations condition in order to insure safe and efficient production utilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible to provide technical / physical support in the area mechanical maintenance. Maintain plant equipment and systems in good operations condition in order to insure safe and efficient production utilization. The following are core essential functions of the position:
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment and software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.
• Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires.
• Install repaired equipment in various settings.
• Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, and repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.
• Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.
• Repair and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn parts such as gaskets and seals in watertight electrical equipment.
• Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or GED.
SCHEDULE
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call (rotating)
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
• Expected hours: 40 per week
