Job Title: Web Content Operations Specialist

Location-Type: Remote (U.S. based; must work 10 AM - 3 PM EST)

Start Date Is: February 16
Compensation: $41/hr - $55/hr W2


Duration: February 16 - September 30, 2026 (contract, potential to extend)

  • 25 hrs/week - not expected to go over 25 hrs/week
  • 10-3pm EST
  • 5 hrs/day
Day-to-Day:

Request Intake & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the first touch and face of the web team for internal clients
  • Receive, triage, and manage requests submitted through the Wrike ticketing system
  • Collaborate daily with stakeholders across Marketing, Communications, and Membership
  • Act as an analyst and translator-understanding the request, clarifying needs, and routing work appropriately to technical teams
  • Proactively communicate status, next steps, and timelines to stakeholders
Key pain point this role solves:
Helping stakeholders understand who needs to do what and keeping requests from getting stuck or misrouted.


CMS & Content Execution
  • Work primarily in Sitecore CMS, performing basic content updates and troubleshooting (no coding required)
  • Execute content entry and straightforward changes independently
  • Escalate more complex requests to developers, content team, or leadership
  • Support work across multiple platforms and systems, including Optimizely
  • Spend the majority of time actively working in Wrike and Sitecore
Workflow, Governance & QA
  • Ensure requests follow defined workflows and governance standards
  • Support QA at the content level (accuracy, formatting, accessibility basics)
  • Assist with audits and cleanup of outdated content as needed
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve intake, clarity, and execution
Projects & Environment
  • Support high day-to-day ticket volume while also contributing to:
    • Two major initiatives currently in flight
    • A website platform migration with a planned launch at the end of summer
  • Operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with competing priorities
  • Expected to be flexible and comfortable being "in a lot of places at once"
Meetings & Team Engagement
  • Attend weekly rhythm meetings
  • Participate in two bi-weekly department meetings
  • Regular 1:1s with the Hiring Manager
  • Active collaboration across teams is a core expectation
Requirements:

Must have Experience
  • 3+ years of Web Content Operations experience

    Proven experience working closely with internal stakeholders or clients
  • Familiarity working within CMS platforms (use sitecore- target this!)
  • Comfort navigating multiple systems and tools simultaneously
  • Experience in fast-paced, request-driven environments
