Administrative & Operations Support

This is a Part Time position without benefits.

Shift: 10pm-7:30am (overnight shift)

Job Summary

Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities. Maintain Supplies as needed- Overnight Floor Tech.

Job Responsibilities

• Floor Maintenance - Perform comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of vinyl, tile, and carpeted flooring, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and stripping as required to maintain hygiene and appearance standards.
• Equipment Operations - Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners, ensuring equipment remains in proper working condition.
• Infection Control - Adhere to strict infection control protocols by utilizing approved cleaning chemicals and methods to reduce contamination risks to patients and staff.
• Inspection and Reporting - Routinely inspect floors for damage or excessive wear, report maintenance concerns to supervision, and perform minor repairs when appropriate.
• Safety Compliance - Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Documentation - Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and ensure compliance with hospital cleanliness, safety, and regulatory policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or floor maintenance
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting equipment, repetitive movement, and prolonged standing.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Working knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and respond to cleaning-related needs.

*Additional Information - Selected applicant must meet the following standards:

• Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history, and verification of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program.
