Job Description:

Employees of the scene shop will be responsible for realization of all scenery and lighting designs for Mercer University Theatre. In short, we create magic and illusions four shows a year. Employees will work hard, have fun, and get dirty.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to students who are Theatre majors, plan to be a Theatre major, are looking to be involved in the theatre for fun, or simply have construction experience. Every employee will be expected to: *Perform heavy lifting on a regular basis *Work with all manner of power tools, including saws *Perform their job while strictly observing safety *Occasionally work on Saturdays as needed *Be open to learning new things *Commit to a work schedule for the semester

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
