Job Details

The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks and supporting skilled mechanics in repairing mobile equipment. This role ensures that equipment is kept in optimal working condition to maximize production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics and skilled personnel with repairs on mobile equipment.
• Perform mechanical work, including operating powered tools, hoists, and other mechanical equipment for repairs
• Operate welding and torch equipment for basic repairs and cutting tasks.
• Procure and transport parts, materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems and mobile equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and outdoor environments.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.

• Regularly required to walk, sit, lift, push, pull, and climb.
• Must exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work safely around heavy machinery.
