With over 30 years of experience and a commitment to excellence, we are the preferred installer for several hangar door manufacturers. Trezz has extensive experience with aircraft hangar doors, serving private hangars, military bases, and airports across the country. Our office is based in Monticello, GA but our crews work all over the US.

Job responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions of Crew lead or Superintendent.
  • Perform service and installation on a variety of hangar doors to include inventory of parts, precise measurements, assembly, mechanical systems and electrical circuits associated with each.
  • Troubleshoot and repair doors as required.
  • Fabricate or alter parts with grinder and/or welding, and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Document work by adding notes, pictures, and progress for each job.
    Follow company and OSHA safety rules to avoid injuries and damage to property.
  • Manage unused materials and clean-up work area debris.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, winches, or other machinery as needed on jobsite.
Requirements:
  • Arrive to work ON TIME and prepared for the job
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Professional attitude, strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of welding practices, ability to weld and fabricate as needed
  • Ability to effectively use app based technology to submit electronic data
  • Must be able to pass standard physical, drug screen and background check, we are a DRUG FREE workplace
  • Must have High school diploma or GED, and be at least 18 years old
  • Must have working knowledge of power tools, and accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work at heights of 30+ feet
  • This job requires overnight travel up to 4 weeks at a time. Crews travel constantly, as our work is 90% out of state. Please only apply if you are able to travel and be away from home for 3-4 weeks at a time. Lodging and per diem provided. Employee responsible to meet crew at appointed place, transportation provided from there.

Performance Measures:

Performance will be evaluated in safety, completion time for projects, customer satisfaction, issue resolution, punctuality, jobsite cleanliness, attitude, professionalism, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information. Technical school, certifications and experience proving mechanical aptitude a plus.
