Overview

DevOps Platform Engineer role at BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL (U.K.) LTD. Location: Warner Robins, GA, US. Work model: Hybrid (remote work with on-site collaboration as needed).

Responsibilities
  • Pipeline software development from requirements to testing in production, incorporating automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery to reduce manual testing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with professionals to design, test, and program critical applications for clients.
  • Support the development team by enabling efficient DevOps practices and ensuring production readiness.
You Have
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and deploying production-grade containerized applications with Kubernetes through DevOps practices
  • 3+ years of experience with multi-cloud, including AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation (e.g., Github Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodeStar or CodePipeline)
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker and Helm
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud or Network Security architecture (least privilege, IAM, secrets management, RBAC, boundary protection)
  • 3+ years of experience with IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation)
  • Experience troubleshooting platform deployments and configurations within AF or DoD environments
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 60 days of start date
Nice If You Have
  • Experience with Service Mesh concepts (Istio or AWS App Mesh)
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Keycloak
  • Experience with hardened AMIs and Container Images (DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks)
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk)
  • Experience with Rancher services, including RKE2
  • Experience in Identity Authentication and Authorization (Single Sign-On, SAML, OpenID)
  • Experience in Active Directory and GPO configuration
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Associate level Cloud certification (Azure, AWS, Google, or Oracle)
  • AWS Certified Developer Associate Certification
Clearance

Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

Salary range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Eligibility for benefits varies by employment type and location.

Work Model
