Job functions include, but are not limited to the following. Support daily and breakdown maintenance activities, especially those related to troubleshooting of DCS, QCS, and PLC systems with their associated I/ O systems, HMI displays, and field devices. Provide process control engineering and configuration resources for capital projects. Support of process control systems after hours and on rotating on call duty. Both review and create the following types of documentation for new and existing systems: loop sheets and logic. Monitor control system reliability and process variability, and take steps to eliminate any shortcomings. Will lead software upgrades to the mill DCS systems. Serve as process control advocate working with corporate and local IT groups. Role models safe behavior and practices, participates in safety activities.
