About the role
The role is to perform mechanical tasks as required to provide a high level of rotating equipment rebuild services. Primarily in support of our reducer rebuild operations.
* Fulltime, hours vary
* Some Travel is required, via vehicle and plane
* Overtime hours and some weekends required
* Salary range is based on experience:
Responsibilities
* Disassemble gear reducers for inspection and evaluation.
* Inspect internal components for defects.
* Fill out all necessary documents for office to provide quotation and procure parts as necessary to complete rebuild.
* Complete reassembly of gear reducer. Complete all documentation necessary per our rebuild procedures.
* Inspect machine parts and assemblies and complete related paperwork (such as inspection reports, excel entries, computer file storage, and other database records)
* Must be competent using precision measurement tools.
* Forklift driving experience.
* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
* General housekeeping duties to keep shop clean.
* Basic computer skills and proficiency with computer tablet and Microsoft Office.
* Checking and updating inventory.
Candidate requirements
* High school graduate or GED.
* Minimum 1 years of mechanical experience required.
* Physically able to pick up 50-75lbs.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Willing to work in non-climate-controlled areas in shop
* Willingness to learn shop procedures.
* Willingness to work overtime hours and some weekends.
* Successful candidates must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and have an acceptable 3-year Motor Vehicle Report as may be required by current company policy.
