ASRC Federal Business Innovation, LLC provides systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer II to support our USAF contract at Robbins AFB, GA. This project supports the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA, working with various weapon system platforms and airframes such as the F-15, F-35, B-1B, C-5, C-130, MQ-9 Reaper, and HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter. All work will be performed on base.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in product sustainment, development, lab support, and engineering services for the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS), ISR, and Mission Support lines within the customers organization.
  • Assist in evaluating current systems, planning large-scale system projects, and supporting network communications including LAN/WAN systems.
  • Provide technical support to outside customers, such as System Program Offices.
  • Support acquisition, verification, validation, and testing of externally acquired products.
  • Conduct research, analysis, reverse-engineering, and other support tasks.
  • Develop technical specifications and design documents.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and manage project teams internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in areas such as Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensors and Fusion, Communications, Navigation, Identification, Tactical Data Links, Networks, Information Assurance, Support Equipment, Simulations, or Systems Integration.
  • Strong English language skills (written and verbal).
  • Interest in new technologies and adaptability.
  • Leadership ability and capacity to carry development workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Schedule

  • Facilities are open 6 am-6 pm; work hours can be set with customer leadership.
  • Flexible hours during the pay cycle; avoid using PTO for appointments.
  • Possible compressed work schedules (e.g., 4/10 or 9/80) at leadership discretion.
