Performs safe, effective therapeutic patient care. Demonstrates expertise in patient assessment treatment planning, treatment implementation, & documentation. Knowledgeable in the organization & demonstration of Recreation Therapy programs that focus on self-awareness, self-expression, social, cultural, & recreation development. Performs as part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:None. MINIMUM LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification CPI certification within the first 90 days of employment required ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Masters in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred Recreation Therapy experience preferred, experience in related fields considered. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred, or Certification as Art Therapist....Recreation, Therapist, Healthcare, Certification
