The Role:
As a Hardware Design Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to the development of complex electronic systems for defense and aerospace applications. You'll support projects from concept through production, with responsibility for detailed circuit design, schematic capture, board layout support, and hardware validation. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and develop analog and digital electronic circuits
  • Perform schematic capture and collaborate on PCB layout and routing
  • Validate and troubleshoot hardware prototypes in lab environments
  • Define and execute hardware verification and test plans
  • Interface with systems engineering to ensure requirements traceability
  • Contribute to hardware design documentation and support design reviews
  • Support transition from prototype to production, including DFM/DFT considerations
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded systems or similar applications
  • Strong understanding of digital/analog circuit design, power systems, and signal integrity
  • Proficiency in tools like Altium, Mentor Graphics, or similar for schematic/layout work
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.
  • Bonus: Experience with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability systems
