Caregiver Needed Part-Time in the Macon, GA

Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified, dedicated, compassionate and experienced individual to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong background in home healthcare. Day-to-day duties of this role include getting them up and ready for the day, bathing, emptying urinal, making sure the client is fed, reassuring that the client vitals are in good status, and just allowing the client to grow and be at their best at those potentially vulnerable stages or areas in their life.

Hours available for each location vary according to each client, we welcome flexibility!

1 Assignment- Seeking coverage for a total of 27h per wk (Two clients)

Weekends required

Flexibility welcomed

Requirements to start:

Minimum of 1 year experience as a PCA/HHA/CNA

BLS/ CPR/ First Aid (American Heart Association required)

Up-to-date TB test results(Must be as current as previous 3 months)

GCHECKS background check(fingerprints)/ Local Background check

MUST provide excellent service and care to our patients

Work Location: Clients' home

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering/ bathing, bowel & bladder care, dressing and grooming

Assist clients with ambulation and help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)

Plan and prepare small meals

Assist clients with shopping or accompany them whilst doing so

Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day

Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment

Willingness to re-enforce health and safety standards
