A well-established and forward-thinking agricultural company is seeking a full-time Accounting Professional to support and manage day-to-day financial operations. This key role ensures accuracy in reporting, inventory, and compliance while supporting the financial health of the business. Ag Accounting Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support general accounting processes across the operation
  
• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and transactional reviews
  
• Support inventory accounting, including adjustments and reconciliations
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  
• Provide backup support across various accounting functions as needed
  
• Serve as a resource to internal teams by maintaining accurate process documentation
  
• Support compliance reporting, audits, and regulatory filings
  
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and financial system enhancements
  

Ag Accounting Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in agriculture or manufacturing
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and macros
  
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar software (Oakland Software a plus)
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
  
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset
