What You Will Be Doing: As the Macon Yard Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily yard duties/responsibilities in Macon and prioritizing tasks amongst the yard coordinators. Primary Responsibilities: Evaluate current workload on the Macon yard and facilitate the coordination of yard coordinators to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Ensure that there is communication between customers and yard coordinators and that all customer needs are handled appropriately, while still facilitating any other current yard requests. Be in constant communication with sales coordinators and shop supervisors about machine needs and staging machines for customer pickup. Jump in and assist yard coordinators during busy moments and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks and gets forgotten about. Oversee that attachment transfers are handled in a timely manner amongst the team. Be in constant communication with the transportation coordinator in Macon and ensure that all transfers are properly staged so they can be picked up in a timely manner. Help ensure that the current yard layout/process is being followed and all attachments and machines have designated areas to be inventoried. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager.
