Through our Give Back program, we own our commitment to Social Responsibility and live our purpose of Packaging a Better Future.ResponsibilitiesJob titleDry End Operator- Material HandlerReports toProduction SupervisorJob purposeThe Dry End Operator- Material Handler is responsible for moving finished product into the warehouse and maintains end of process for Dry End Production.Duties and responsibilitiesThe primary job duties and responsibilities are:Follow all documented procedures for the position.Moves finished pallets of product to the warehouse.Appropriately scans in product into the system of record (e.g. SAP).Replaces empty pallets at the end of the Production line.Properly operates the deluge system.Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.Empty trash hoppers and cans as required.Provides assistance to the Stacker as required.Maintains effective communication with other operators and plant supervision.Informs Natural Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor of any problems.Maintains excellent safety record.Maintains excellent attendance record.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsExperienceExperience required:At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards.Demonstrated record of proficiency in forklift operation and safety.Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.SkillsAn individual must have the following skills in the Dry End Operator-Material Handler position:Ability to work safely and to communicate with others in a professional manner.Demonstrated ability sufficient to determine product quality, for example, carton malformations, color verification, and structural integrity.Demonstrated hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for product handling.Physical requirementsThis position is located in a manufacturing location.
